The short version: this app does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking.

Data stored on your device

Your favorite stations, personal notes and listening history are stored locally on your device only. They are never uploaded anywhere. Uninstalling the app deletes them permanently.

Network requests

The app needs the internet for two things:

1. Station directory. Searching and browsing stations uses the free, community-run Radio Browser API (radio-browser.info). These requests include standard technical information, such as your IP address and the app identifier "MoonStoneRadio". When you start playing a station, an anonymous play counter for that station is sent to Radio Browser; it helps rank popular stations and contains nothing about you.
2. Audio streaming. The audio streams come directly from each radio station's own servers. Those servers are operated by third parties and receive your IP address like any internet connection; their own privacy policies apply.

What we never do

No personal data collection. No advertising SDKs. No analytics SDKs. No selling or sharing of data, because there is no data to sell or share.

Children

Since the app collects no data at all, there is nothing collected from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published on this page and inside the app, with a new effective date.
